This is the Control Band which ensures the proper working of the test device. If this line does not emerge the test is failed or the procedure was broken. Read the instructions carefully and retest yourself with a new test device.
POSITIVE RESULT is when Control Band is the only line that emerges within the result window. It means that THC concentration in the specimen is above the institutive cut-of level of 50 ng/ml.
NEGATIVE RESULT is when there are two color lines within result window: the Control Band and the Test Band. The Test Band could be lighter; the results are still considered to be negative. However, if the Test Band is too pale it could signify the proximity of the specimen THC concentration to the institutive cut-of level.
