4. Wait 5 minutes and read the results. Supervise two color lines: control line and test line. Control line is marked “C”; and test line is marked "T".

Positive result: Control line appears and test line does not.

Negative result: Control line and test line both emerge. Test line color may vary; it can be lighter or darker than the control line. Results are still negative.

Invalid: The drug test is invalid in a case of control line is not visible in five minutes time. The device failed for some reason or the procedure was followed with faults. Verify the test procedure attentively; then repeat the procedure correctly with a new device.
