More recently, doctors used urinalysis to detect the presence of Alzheimer's disease. Nowadays urinalysis is widely used in different spheres for the testing of alcohol and prohibited drugs. It is so popular because it allows detecting presence of various substances in the organism from several days to weeks after they have been consumed. The concentration and detecting period of the narcotic matter depends on the type, frequency, and amount of taken drugs. Some people want to avoid detection of unwanted toxins. In this case they use a mixture of fake urine which should be poured from a hidden container into the specimen cup at the testing laboratory. Some people use saved clean urine from times when they take no toxic substances. Clean urine could be kept frozen. Some use somebody else clean urine. Testing laboratories caught a few unlucky lads on these tricks and now laboratories’ personnel ask clients to empty the pockets and leave private things outside when they come in to give their urine specimen. Some contraptions were invented such as the "Whizzinator" and the “Urinator”. They are to be tied to the leg or waist underneath clothing. Small pouch is designed for the delivering to the testing facility clean or fake urine for later retrieval of the specimen in the restroom. The “Urinator” has heating element and electronic controls to keep the specimen at the proper temperature for up to 4 hours. The heating element, batteries and electronics are fit a small insulated bag. Labs check the temperature of specimens. It should meet the temperature of fresh urine. It is becoming an ordinary practice that laboratory staff checks the urine specimen for having blood particles corresponding to the person’s blood type. For testing the specimen laboratories mix it with chemicals or dip a chemically colored testing strip into it. Depending on the type of narcotics that are looked for laboratories examine the specimen more precisely in lab testing devices. Urinalysis is now usually used for random job tests, or when employer feels he has cause to test an employee.
